This was made in the mid 1990’s as a reply to all the fast acid I had made until that time, so it’s very slow. It sort of combines acid, electro (the beat) and dub, something I have been into on and off for the last 30 years. I was a particularly big fan of Adrian Sherwood and the way he mixed stuff like Mark Stewart, and I went out several times to see On-U Sound bands live with him behind the main desk. I never watched the bands much, but I learned a lot from watching him at work and applied several of those techniques to my own workflow.
I don´t wanna be your lover for the weekend!!! Hey, back in the 80ies they tried to create this kind of sound but this is actually authentic and cooler. crazysexycouple
