A track made in a 5/8 time signature, and it’s quite ambivalent about its BPM as well. This had a reason: the drum machine is the fantastically metallic sounding Korg KPR-77 which only synced to my setup on half speed. So you had to do all this pattern reprogramming to sort of get it to work. The Indian sample came from a local Amsterdam radio station that would only play Surinam Hindustani music. I think I sampled it direct from the radio.
