You didn’t really think I’d release anything with absolutely no acid on it, did you? In this case it’s not a 303 but the SH-101, which I used for many of my early acid tracks. While the 909 does bass drum duties here, the drummer on call is the tr-606, a machine I picked up in the town of Hilversum for the equivalent of 12 euro. Only issue was that the owner’s cat had pissed all over the manual and no matter what I tried, it wouldn’t stop smelling horribly. When many, many years later this 606 was completely trashed and I sold it for scrap parts on ebay, I sold the manual with it. It still stank!
