Black sabbath was my first EP on Creme. I had just done 2 electro style EP's for the rejuvenated Bunker, and i got the request for a record here. So why not? The EP is a bit more layered, deeper style electro than most of the Bunkers, digging a little further into programming my synths and at the same time learning a bit more about production methods. After all, i never had any training in anything and sort of slowly learned it all as i went along. Theme and lyric wise, this is is where things turn darker too, with some black themes. The title song takes its name from the horror movie, not the band (though the band took it from there too) and other tracks are about similar themes.

Apart from the regular, remastered tracks, additional bonus tracks are a slower demo version of '3 faces of fear' and a live version of Hysteresis from 2005, which appeared on a digital compilation for Dutch broadcaster VPRO.Shaunna took the lyrics of Hysteresis (a sort of textbook about electronics lyric) and transformed them into a galactic theme which she sings live, completely improvised.
